Craftin Desert Divas Solo Sponsor

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/5862

Hey there  :)
Welcome!
I am super excited  for Craftin Desert Divas, Amy's Solo Sponsor!
Tara is offering a $20.00 store credit to one winner!!
It could be you, so be sure to comment on our Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog for your chance to win!!

I really love this set of  Fancy Frame Dies <3
I use them all the time, from the largest, where I use it on this card, to one of their smaller ones in the same set, that I stamped my sentiment on.

For this card I started off using Unity Stamp Co Kit of the Month December 2017 coffee cup background. I heat embossed it onto PTI kraft cardstock, then cut it using CDD die.
I am really LOVING this "new to me" crinkle ribbon by D.L. Art.
This is from their Vintage Christmas bundle.. It's a cranberry color, and just beautiful to work with!!
I added a tiny wooden coffee cup from Latina Crafters, and a tiny butterfly.
That's it for today!
I look forward to your comments

Coffee Loving Cardmakers

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/

Hey there  :)
Welcome to my blog !!
I am so happy to share this sweet card with you this week!!
Being a part of Coffee Loving Papercrafters Facebook group, and Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog is so amazing for me!!
I never thought in a million years I'd be asked to take part with such talented women. I am still pinching myself, if I'm being honest.
I will be posting a card, one Wednesday a month, and this is my January card.
I really hope you like it  :)

Let's chat about this card for a moment, ok.
This sweet girl is from Unity Stamp Company's  new line called Planner Girls.
They are smaller than their Angie's Girl stamps, but as you know, Unity doesn't make small stamps-EVER! LoL
She doesn't have a name like the Angie's, but you can find her by clicking here> Stay Cozy
I started out stamping her with Memento Black ink, colored her in with Copics.
Then I used Craftin' Desert Divas (<link) Fancy Frame Dies to cut her out. I used Papertrey Ink white cardstock as my base, then grabbed a piece of printed cardstock, too.
I used Stampin' Up! Pool Party for the blue layer, and the little piece for the sentiment.
The sentiment is also from Unity, from the Itty Bitty line, called Cup of Love.
I used pink embossing powder on it :)
I don't know if you can see it, but under the top, white layer and over all the other layers, I used a piece glitter tulle to cover the entire card, and trimmed it some. I am going to so sad when I run out of that tulle. I bought it and 6 other glitter colors at JoAnn's 4 years ago, and I have not seen it since then  :(

This sticker is so amazing!
It is from Essentials (Sandy Lion)
It was a gift to me from my friend Eileen Mathys for Christmas!
I just love it, and I will be buying more of them :)

This pretty little flower came with the same sticker set!! Too cute  :)

Well, that's my card for this month! I hope you like it, too.
I can't wait for next month!
Valentine's Day!
I already have an idea spinning around in my head!!
See you then  ;)

Friends of Unity Blog Hop January 2018

Hey there !!
Welcome the second Friends of Unity Blog Hop!!
I am so happy you stopped by :)
Be sure to hop along with us, because one of us is having a very nice giveaway of Unity stamps...I wonder who it could be?? LOL

For this months card, we went with a Winter theme.
I chose Warm Winter Comforts ...
I just love this little guy so much!
I started by stamping him on PTI cardstock, then coloring him with a combination of different markers ~ Copic, and Distress Markers by Ranger, (Tim Holtz)
Then I used Kat Scrappiness Fancy scalloped rectangle dies to cut out the image~
My background layer is literally a piece of white cardstock I smooshed around in some SU! Pool Party ink, that  I spritzed some water on.. it looked pretty good so I saved it. It worked well with this image, and the colors I used.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with him onto a scrap piece of PTI patterned cardstock then used a punch from SU! to punch it out.
I used a boarder die from Tim Holtz die set I have to add some more color.
The snowflakes are stickers, and there in the top right side, I added some washi. It didn't match the white as much as I wanted it to, but I still liked it ;)
I added some twine, to finish it off.
I am pretty happy with how this one turned out!!
I hope you like it too...
Thanks, for stopping by, and I look forward to your comments
Please check out the other ladies Hopping with me today!
