My first card has a beachy feel to me!
I used pattern paper and some sheer ribbon along with the coffee cup.
Colored the cup with Copic markers, and used pop dots..

I've already sent this card to my sweet, crafty friend Laura Jata...shhhh ;)
My second card..
and lastly, my 3rd card

For this card I used the pretty flower from the set,
placed it over the heart on the cup..
I colored it with Copics, and added crinkle ribbon, and a button
(this card layout was inspired from Pinterest ;)
(coffee cup basket was made for me by Lisa Burton Bradford)

Coffee Loving Cardmakers
Hey there
     What's brewin'??
Welcome back to Robyn's Nest!!

We have had such a busy month at CLC.
3 collaboration hops that we absolutely FANtastic!! So many gorgeous, and inspiring projects.
It has been an honor to participate with such a talented group of crafters!!
I love being a part of the
 Coffee Loving Cardmakers design team!!

For this months card, I took to Pinterest for some "sweet tea" inspiration!!
I used the sentiment from
^^^LINK^^

Don't you just love this sentiment, and the font?

I stamped the images onto Papertrey Ink white cardstock,
then used my Scan n Cut to cut them out since they don't offer dies for the set
I've had this set for years, and finally used it.
Colored with Copics and popped up the images...

That's it from me for this month! Be sure to follow
Coffee Loving Cardmakers for a chance to win in our upcoming blog collaborations..so many more to come and inspire you...
Click on anything highlighted in red to link you to CLC or A2Z
See you soon, and thanks for stopping by!!!

Friends of Unity, August 2018

Hey there!! What's brewin' ??
Welcome to Robyn's nest

I cannot believe it is August already!!
This months theme for our Friends of Unity Hop is coffee !!
Well, how bout that!!!! LOL..
My favorite thing!!
I am having one of 2 giveaways this month
~ I have a few Unity stamps in mind, so be sure to comment to win!!
I will read all the blogs, then use random to pick my winner

ok.. let's get started
I used the coffee cup image from Unity's Kit of the Month for June!!
This has to be one of my favorite KOM's yet!!
I love coffee, and feathers!!

For my card, I stamped the image on PTI's white cardstock
I used chalks to tone that white down some
Colored it with Copics.. I really wanted to give her a french manicure, LOL
Used My Favorite Things edge dies, and my most favorite piece of K&Company's pattern paper. This is my last sheet of this gorgeous paper, and I will miss it terribly!!
I added some jute type twine, and pretty little flowers along that "naked" side
I didn't add a sentiment yet, because I'm not sure who it will go to.. it could be any type card at this point..
Then lastly, some clear Nuvo drops...

On a side note, that little basket handle you see in my picture is actually a coffee cup basket made by my good friend, Lisa Bradford! She has this amazing talent for basket making, and I was lucky enough to be surprised by getting one in the mail!! It was filled with so many crafty goodies too!!
Thank you my friend :)

We all on the Friends of Unity design team appreciate every single comment we get.
That's why we use our own stash every month for a giveaway.
We are NOT sponsored by Unity Stamp Co. But , they do approve of our hop, and that make us all very happy
We started this hop because we love Unity. That's it. This hop is our way of showcasing our cards made with our favorite stamps!!

Leave us a comment, and I'll send you something pretty cool in Happy Mail!!

Up next is

Now for my card..

I used Hug in a Mug~ stamp/die set along with their
This pattern paper is just gorgeous! So many little delicious details!

I used the dies to cut out the cup,
then I stamped and heat embossed the coffee sleeve, and lid to add texture
Next, I added these sweet hand made flowers which I received as a
RAK (Random Act of Kindness)
from my friend Marilynn DeGroot!!!
This sentiment says
Coffee is a Hug in a Mug
See that tiny coffee cup? It is also a part of the set!!

Next I decided to make a bible bookmark for my friend
I made a large tag with the dark brown cardstock, added the dark green on top
I used some scalloped dies and cut a pretty piece from the same Latte Love paper pack
Then using the Hug in a Mug dies, I cut the cup, and sleeve
For the "steam" I fussy cut this swirl from the paper

Love this sentiment!!!
I stamped and heat embossed it. Then added the tiny flower and some Nuvo drops
That's it for me!!
I have to say, this set of stamps can keep you busy for weeks!! So many different stamps to choose from!!
I hope you are hopping along with us!!
