I had a lot of fun working with the ephemera from Super Sponsor Not 2 Shabby's new release, and it's all about the peppermint!!

I love the sentiments from the stamp set

 

For my card I used the frame die from Impression Obsession

What a fun color combo in the ephemera so I cut the frame from matching Papertrey Ink paper..

I heat embossed the sentiment with Brutus Monroe Alabaster ink and embossing powder..

It went very fast...so fast that my next few cards will be from this amazing pack of cut outs!!

OK, well now that all the technical stuff is out of the way, I can tell you a bit about this sweet card/image/digi from

I printed off this sweet image then colored it with Copic markers to match the amazing (last sheet) of SU DSP...this paper has been stashed for a very long time...lol~ have to use it a some point, right? 

I'm not usually a fan of this type of  ribbon, since it doesn't make for easy mailing and bulky bows.., but if you know me, then you know I usually have ribbon on my cards, so I will end up hand delivering this one (with cookies)  🍪🍪🍪🍪

Don't you just love this squirrel??
I do, so much!!!
I stamped him out a 4 times
Colored him up with just a few Copics
E-7-8-11-15-13-15-17
Then I colored the other 2 and fussy cut out the tree leaves and branches to add dimension
The back ground lattice die is from Kat Scrappiness in Slimline

 

Up next is that beautiful slice of pumpkin pie, illustrated by our very own Jeanie Marie Hays

 

I saw this water colored~ how'd I do??

I cut off the flower...loved it

I had some extra's stamped off so I made a real quick card here
water colored him~ I think he got too "muddy" 🤷

then added some crystal rain drops from Studio Katia, and more "rain" with Nuvo clear drops

When I cut out my first piece, I saw it could be a frog...
 What do you think??
I have 2 sisters that are "into" frogs...they have them scattered all over their home. that's probably why those bumps turned into eyes for me Ha!

 I gave her eyelashes
She looked more like a frog before I wrapped her around the cup

 

I made everything from paper with the dies provided in the kit (except the mouth)

When I got to the mouth, I wasn't all that happy with it...I liked the boy frogs mouth better

but, I know my sister will love it.

It's so fast, and easy enough to make them, that I am sending her a few extra to give away, too

Friends of Unity September 2021

 Welcome to Robyn's Nest!!

This month's cue is a color challenge!

Oh my goodness this is fabulous! I love the slimline design and the die giving you those three squares to work in. Those three images in the cutouts are perfect!!!

I started out by using this new Uniquely Unity set, Season Of Inspiration

2 gorgeous pumpkins and 2 sentiments in this kit~ perfect for Fall/September cards

Super easy card!
I stamped on PTI kraft card stock with white ink, then heat embossed with white as well

I used an older Sizzix die to cut the image out 

I added it to the sage mat then tied some matching jute into a bow
After mounting it to my card base, I used Gina Marie enamel dots to finish it off
 

 

I had some extra time and made a second card for the hop 

 

This card is just a combination of elements I cut out or had out looking for the right color combo~

This is a mini slimline card ~
I used sage cardstock, and kraft, both from Papertrey Ink (PTI) 

I stamped the oak leaf from the August 2021 Kit of the Month onto a scrap piece of pattern paper from PTI (fussy cute it out)... and used that beautiful "give thanks" from the Uniquely Unity August 2021~ Stamped, embossed, and fussy cut)

The matching bow is also ribbon from PTI...

More of those enamel dots 😍

Friends of Unity August 2021

 

Hey there, friends...Let's go for a Ride!!!

This month's cue had me searching for just the right stamp....then I saw a Facebook post announcing my girl Lindsey is pregnant!! YAY!! I've known Lindsey since she was 2~ this is very good news for everyone who knows them!!
Let's get started

 

 

 

 

 

It's a GIRL!! 

I bought this stamp  just to make a card, someday, for Lindsey, and today was the day!! I am so excited for Lindsey and Landon- this beautiful couple deserve everything good in life! 

 

I started by stamping the Jeep with Memento black, then used a few Copics to color it 

RV0000-RV000- RV10~ I used a silver glitter pen for the "chrome" areas~

 I also Google Imaged a pink Jeep and WOW!!

 I want one!!!  

 

 

Aren't they adorable!!

Lindsey is a first grade teacher, in Rome, Ga, and Landon is a contractor.

 

I used pink to stamp the ultrasound, and jar of pickles and heat embossed them both... then fussy cut them out...the 3 square slimline die is from Trinity Stamp Co and the sentiment is from an old (very old) Stampin' Up wood set called You Grow Girl...so cute! No, it's not from Unity 😏

I recently "found" 2 punches I've had for years and forgot about- just cheap ones from Michael's but make cute little daisy like flowers, or flower centers~ so that's what I used for the tiny matching flowers that are scattered, with a little gem in the center...so cute~ I added a bit more color by using them.

I made a few green and black, oh and at the last minute, I added a few white, as well...

Here ^^ is a shot of the inside (again, not Unity)

 

When I stamp from a set, I like to stamp most all of the images, while I'm at it, and the same goes with this set.

 I stamped out a few in case I messed up coloring...so, I put together this little tag type wrist-let for the shower..or she can hang it from her car mirror...its cute..

Friends of Unity~July 2021~ Summer Vacation

 

Welcome to Robyn's Nest!!

This month's cue- Summer Vacation!
I had a ton of fun coloring up the May 2021 Unity Kit of the Month

Summer Vibes KOM 

 

Here's a few cards I made for this months hop

 

  

 For this card, I stamped the image on a sheet of white card stock cut at 3 1/2 x 8 1/2

I stamped the trio of umbrella's from the kit onto a separate sheet, and fussy cut out this one. I did the same thing with the flip flops from the set, too

I colored them to all match. I did add the beach water line...

(sorry the picture is a bit off~ these slimline cards need more room in my light box than I have....trying to work out this problem)

 

This is how I envision myself right now, soaking up some rays....but alas, the next card is more like me these days

As everyone knows, I am a HUGE fan of Unity's Angie's Girls!

This last card is what I had left over after stamping out all the images from the KOM, so I just used them...the scale is a little off, but...IDC LOL
