OKAY!!!
Let's get this party started!!

For my first card, I chose
Trinity Stamps>> link>> Trinity Stamps

This guy was super popular last year, and I never got a chance to use him.
So this year I couldn't wait to get inky!!

Sometimes I just let a paper color inspire me!
This pretty piece of "snowy" paper is from a paper pack from My Favorite Things did it for me!!
The trees in the back are from a die set I just bought from Sizzix...I love the "snow" on the branches and decided to use a sheet from Doodlebugs fabulous paper!! Very festive 😊
The snowy stitched hills is a die from
The Greetery   called Drifting (it's gorgeous)
and see that bag in back, right? My friend Carla makes those!!

Now to this image!
Oh my word!! I cannot express how fun it is to use this set!!
I used nearly all the stamps in this set at least a few times!!
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using WOW! embossing powder onto a scrap piece of vellum

I did a tiny bit of paper piecing for this tiny cup..

Here is a shot of the inside of the card.

The sentiment is from my wooden stamp stash
 of misc companies...

Ok, that's it for me for today.!!

I have a new (sorta new) Facebook group

Today I am using this gorgeous new stamp set from my friend
Jeanie Hays!!

When I saw this pretty girl, I ran over to Unity and bought it!!
Right now, she is on sale, too!!
You can buy it here
I was inspired by this photo taken of my daughter for her senior pictures!
This is our small downtown.
Gainesville, Georgia

After coloring her up with my Copics, I did end up paper piecing her scarf.
Then I fussy cut her out, and added her to my card front.
I found an image of the Coke sign on the web.

Coffee Loving Cardmakers~ Fun with Jaded Blossom

Hey there, and welcome back to Robyn's Nest!!

I have a couple fun cards for you today from one of my favorite Super Sponsors, Jaded Blossom!

Their July release was all for me! Just kidding, but you would think so with all that coffee goodness! Anything from fun, new coffee stamps, to new coffee themed stencils! I was in heaven!

As soon as the sets arrived, I couldn't wait to get inky!
I am having a random blog candy giveaway this month
Comment to be entered to win

First, I used the super sweet owl from the Don't Give a Hoot set
 link is below

Don't Give a Hoot

Ack!! How cute is this Owl??
I started out by stamping, then coloring the image with Copics,
then I decided to paper piece the cup!
Next, I fussy cut it out...
Going through my stash, I ran across these dies from
Best Day Ever, and Jumping Jacks
I cut the dies out with a few colored card stock
I then went looking for a tree die, or stamp, and found that I had bought this gorgeous birch tree die from Simon Says Stamp. So, I cut it out in white, then I used a deckle blade to trim the edges around that piece. I added a colorful polka dot piece of card stock I had used on a previous card, so I added it behind the trees :)
The Best Day Ever dies came with these super fun flowers, so I added them, too...
The Jumping Jacks die is so awesome! I loved using it on this card...

I also decided to use the negative piece from die cutting to make another card, just for fun!!

I really love how these 2 turned out...I felt like I was channeling my inner Lisa Bzibziak on these 2! That's not a bad thing, either, since I'm her super fan ;) and she constantly inspires me with her amazing creations!!
I sure hope you enjoyed my cards for this month!!
See you here again next month
 (September 16th is my day)

Coffee Loving Cradmakers ~ National Iced Tea Day

Hey there!
What's brewin'??
Happy National Iced Tea Day!!!
Welcome to Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog hop!
Click here to start from the beginning :)
Coffee Loving Cradmakers

Being from the South, I have a fresh gallon of iced tea in my fridge all the time, with a back up jug in the spare fridge on the front porch...😂😂
(kidding, it's in the garage)
😋
I drink mine slightly sweet, with lemon!
 I love lemon tea!
My family, however, have to have their sweet tea, sweet! 2 full cups of sugar goes into my sweet
tea, and we ONLY use Luzianne
How do you make your tea?
I'd love to make sun tea, but frankly, it goes so fast, I'd need to be a week ahead. lol..no time for that

For my card, I stamped the iced tea glass from a set from Little Inkers, and added some ice cubes to float around the top, then, I colored it with Copics. I added white gel pen to add highlights.
I had these little lemons stamped off and colored in my stash, so I added them.
This sentiment is from Paper Sweeties.
Hey Y'all

I use this set quite often. I love the font, so much..
Well, that's it from me this month!
I'll be back next month on July15th

Leave comments on the Design Team Member blogs along with this post for a chance to win a $15 Gift Code to any Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Super Sponsor of your choice! The more you comment, the more chances for you to win! Commenting closes on Saturday, June 13th at 11:59 pm pacific. The winner will be posted on Sunday, June 14th

Then I paper pieced her shirt, by stamping the image onto pattern paper, then fussy cut it out, then I glued it in place

Here's a close-up..sorry about the shadow :(
Can you tel the cup is popped up?
I decided to fussy cut the cup, and it turned out cute with "love' stamped onto it. This set comes with quite a few stamps to customize your mug

.adding a few sequins from favorite place to buy sequins,

I used Always Artichoke SU! card stock
Lawn Fawn pattern paper
Waffle Flower scalloped die
Large snowflake die is from Sizzix
I love to use burlap when possible, and this little banner from Jolee's has a tad bit of it under the letters in "Holiday", so I used a larger piece under my cups

Coffee Loving Cardmakers and My Growing In Unity Week~ Day 3

Hey there!!
What's brewin'?
Welcome to Robyn's Nest!!
Today my blog is doing double duty with my monthly post in Coffee Loving Cardmakers
AND
My Growing in Unity week!!
I am honored to be representing both today!!
When I saw this stamp set released, I had to have it right away!
I need all the Angie's girls whether they have a given name or in a set like this is..again, a nameless Angie Girl, but she is from the set
It was going to be my Christmas card image and I'd add different sentiments to it. Well I am so behind in my cards this year that I may have to just send Winter cards to make up for the missing Christmas card ...HaHaHa
ok, enough chit chat from me!
Let's get to my card for today
I started by stamping the image onto Copic friendly card stock, and letting it dry in for about 20 minutes..then colored it with Copics in blues and browns. I colored the coffee to go cup in green. At first I was trying to match a piece of pattern paper, but then found this small piece of white and blue pattern paper, so I switched up the background...it's ok, right?
Here is a close up of the sentiment that I stamped onto a piece of vellum I had already cute out with my
 deckle blade (from Martha Stuart)

Below is the image

Also, I used one of the sentiments from a Graciellia Designs for Unity
Sorry if this is blurry to you...
I use my iPhone to take pictures..
I would also like to mention that my teamie over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Lisa Bzibziak is having a month long challenge featuring Unity Stamp Co
Use a Coffee, Tea or Cocoa product from Unity Stamps on your project and have an extra chance to win this month’s prize which is a small prize pack from me that includes this adorable Planner Girl Stay Cozy stamp set along with a few other things:

That's it for me for today!!
Thank you for coming by my blog today!!
I hope to see you back tomorrow for my Day 4 card for GIU

For this card I used mostly
Paper Sweeties products.
I am in love with the crisp images from Paper Sweeties!
I usually only ink their stamps once!
No double/triple inking and pumping on the MISTI for me!
I used

I started with red cardstock
Embossed the paper with the cable knit folder.
Next I used the Scalloped Circle Frame Dies
from PS to cut my pattern paper..
For the coffee cup, I stamped and heat embossed it with white ink and powder.
Fussy cut it out (I don't have the dies :(  ~
Stamped the peppermint stick (dies make life so much easier...buy the dies)
Yes, I fussy cut it, then I cut a tiny slit in the cocoa for the stick to slide through.
I did the same with the cupcake  (stamped/colored/fussy cut)
I used white seam binding and Sweet Borders,
 Sweet Cuts/ Circle Scallop Frames,
Sweet Cuts/ Happy

My second card

My third card

All 3 cards were colored with Copics
I used the Stitched leaves from Lawn Fawn on all 3 cards

This stamp on my 4th and 5th card for the hop is from
Ink Road Stamps~ Michelle is now sold out ..

I colored Michelle with Copics and used pretty (retired) Papertrey Ink pattern paper.. I try to always use ribbon or burlap on my cards. I found I had sage green sheer ribbon in my growing stash and it added a soft touch to this card. Adding some Paper Studio flowers and leaves finished it off!

My 5th card

I couldn't wait to make this Fall scene card with Michelle!!
It turned out so cute (I wish you could see it in person)
