Hey there, welcome back for day 4 of the 

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Spring/Summer Blog Hop 2019

For this card I used the newest Digital Stamp set from

Polka Dot Orchard called

Live Life Like A Butterfly <<Link

I started off by using a few colors and splattered a piece of white cardstock, layered it on top of my teal card base...added some washi, a doily under the image...a few embellishments and I was done! This card went pretty quick for me, and I love how it turned out!!

Did you know that

I have an aunt on my mothers side that is into strawberries..

she decorates her kitchen in them
(I have apples in mine) 

So whenever I see anything "strawberry" I always think of her! 

Both of these cards will be for my 80 year old aunt Claudette.
She means the world to me 💖

She calls me often, and when I answer the phone, she says "hello darlin' " 

Isn't that sweet **sigh, I miss her

  

For these 2 cards I used

The strawberry paper is from GinaK
and the basket weave is an embossing folder from SU!
"Sweet" die is from Pink and Main

  For my first card , I used one the digital stamps from

Polka Dot Orchard called

You Are Everything Flower Butterfly Digi Set  

 

I just love this mug with the pretty flowers, and specks!

I especially love the little leaves on the handle of the mug

Once I printed the digi's I wanted from this set, I fussy cut them out, then colored them with Copics

I used PTI cardstock, pattern paper, and die.

I'd like to mention that I am on the design team for

Polka Dot Orchard~by Jessica Pickeral Burnham 

I absolutely love Jess' digi's and the sentiments, too!

Friends of Unity ~ April is Rainy Days

 

Hey there! Welcome to Robyn's Nest!!

This months cue is "Rainy Days"

For this card I combined 2 sets of stamps

Jave Friend (Itty Bitty)  

and the sentiment from

Rain or Shine

I also used the new 

Rainy Backdrop Portrait Die from Lawn Fawn

 and 

Wrapped Scalloped Rectangle Die from Memory Box 

I wasn't thrilled with the result of using both dies on the same piece of paper, but I didn't hate it either, so I just went with it 😉

The raindrops are actually clear, but picked up the blue paper

They are from Studio Katia

Friends of Unity~ March is Creativity

 

Hey there!!

Welcome to Robyn's Nest!

Our theme for this month is Creativity!!

At first I was stumped, then one of these wonderful ladies said we could "be creative" and use a technique...well that's all I needed to brainstorm! 

I chose to use the Shaving Cream technique for my background

All you do is squirt any type of shave cream

 NOT GEL

on a paper plate

next you use your reinkers and drip them randomly onto the shave cream

Then using a butter knife, you swirl the ink into the shave cream

I used 

Whatever Comes Next stamp set..

 red and chocolate brown cardstock from PTI

some pretty green crinkle ribbon, and a matching brad to hold the sentiment to the ribbon.

 Sometimes I like my sentiments to move and not be stationary 

I sent this card to sweet Bobbie Sue (i heart you)

 

March is my birthday month, and it's also my beautiful daughters, too

🎂

She will be 22, and guess what?? 

She is pregnant with a boy

                                                    

I cannot wait to meet the little guy at the beginning of July 👶

I hope you try this technique!!

It was super easy, and fast!
