Hey there, what's brewin'??
Welcome back to this months Hop!
Our girl Dawn suggested the cue for this month,
Strength
I think that most of Unity's sentiments are about
strength and encouragement, it it was an easy choice for me,
to pick the newest member of the Angie's Girl family 💖
I used Emerson Girl
As you've figured out by now, I'm a huge coffee fan!!
So, I went with a Not So serious take on "strength"
Without coffee in the mornings, I really do feel like a slug!
So for me, coffee inspires strength
My friend Java Joanne from Stampin' Funn on FB sent me a stamp that says
"Be strong, I whisper to my coffee" LOL ;)
Here's her

Ok, enough chit chat from me. Onto this card
I started out with a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of dark gray cardstock
I stamped it with the new Brutus Monroe Hit The Brick
background stamp
using Versafine, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder
I love the result so much!
I paper pieced Emerson's outfit, and colored her face and hair with Copics
The sign "came to me" while loading the dishwasher~LOL.
So, I decided to cut out the words on the sentiment to add to the sign.
I love the "grunge" feel of this card
The "Coffee" word die is from CAS-ual Friday's .
I had no idea where this card was going...so, after many, many messages between me, and Eileen, I ended up using a cranberry colored card base, and matted the gray onto black.
I cut a scalloped circle, then assembled the card..
I hope you like this months card!!
