Friends of Unity April 2021~ Birds and Bees

Hey there everyone!!
Welcome to Robyn's Nest!!
It's the first full weekend of the month and time for another FOU blog hop!
If you hopped with us last month, then you know I have 2 giveaways up for grabs!!
I used random.org to select the winners!
#1 Carla from Utah
and
#10 Sue D
Please email me at
robyn6420@aol.com
Subject~ FOU Winner
I'll need your mailing address, please
Carla, I have yours 😍
Isn't this the cutest???!!

For this sweet card, I used the bird from the Kit of the Month April 2017 ~ "be my bird"
I stamped him with Memento black and colored him with a few Copics in a flicking motion to resemble feathers...I'm ok with how he turned out, but, it could have been better..then I fussy cut the entire image. (Yes, it took a good while to do 💪)
I used pop dots to adhere him to this piece of card stock I had already cut out (Sizzix dies I think)
The sentiment is from ______ I have no idea which kit I grabbed it from...but, when I figure it out, I will jump back here and add that info for you...sorry, but I do this A LOT!!
I have a bowl of stamps that need to go back into their kit.
I have started writing on the backing of that stamp, which kit I got it from...
This card is a 4 1/4 X 4 1/4. A good size for this guy I think.

Next up is a little fun!!!

I stamped the flamingo from the Kit of the Month July 2013~"stand tall"~ in Tim Holtz's newest color
Kitsch flamingo, and picked raspberry..., then used clear embossing powder!!
SO cute!!
The frame is from Impression Obsession, and the flowers are from Prima.
I love using Gina Marie enamel dots, and scatter them on my cards, and I think they are still around $3.00 a sheet. 💖

OK, then...that's it from me this month!!
Thanks for getting all the way to the end!!!

  6. Both cards are so lovely, Robyn. I adore the coloring of the first birdie; so pretty. And both card designs are so fun. I love watching the flamingoes at 'Flamingo Gardens'. They're so regal in their stance.

  20. The tweet little blue bird is A.dor.a.ble, delicate and SPRING TIME! The coloring is beautiful and he does look like he's dreaming...the flicking does look like feathers. Whoa, all that fussy cutting is perfection (especially the branch... WOW)! (Flamingos remind me of Florida, mom would have loved the 2nd cute card. ) Happy Spring Robyn (((hugs))) and stay safe!
