~

So the cue this month is "Stencils "

I don't use many stencils, usually, so I was excited to get Distress Oxide inky for this month, when

lo, and behold, my SSS Kit of the month came in...can you say, inspiration!!

In this months Simon Says Stamp kit is the beautiful sunburst stencil

I paired it with Unity's Kit of the Month from May 2021 called

Summer-vibes-kom-5-21/

Summer Vibes {kom 5/21}

This beachy kit get SO much use from me!!!

For this card, ...
I grabbed so many ink pads, I'd hate to try and list them. so just have some fun with color..

I stamped, then colored, then fussy cut her, and the beach out.

I stamped the sentiment so many times on so many things, such as velum, and clear card stock, blue cs and white too, but in the end, I simply stamped the sentiment directly onto the card front (eeep, because there's no going back, right?)

Perfect! I loved it!

Then I wrapped it around the bottom of the stenciled layer, and Bam! Done...

well, sorta.. I added the blue'ish layer then added it my card base (Slimline)

This was a fun card to make and I've already sent it a friend in Florida who needs some good juju 😉

(remember the "shroom" lady??)

Please use FOU Winner in the subject space

Now, let's see some details that card, ok!!

This months cue is so fun!!! I needed a few "men" cards, but only made this one :(
Life gets so busy, eh?
I used Kit of the Month from February 2022
Such an amazing KOM!!
Did you notice that fabulous guitar??

First I grabbed a piece of kraft card stock, then using Versafine watermark stamp pad I randomly stamped a few guitars to the paper as a background...then I used clear embossing powder from WOW and heat embossed to set it...
while that was drying, I colored, then fussy cut the guitar out...
Using Versafine Sepia, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed
I literally had this piece of burlap on my work table, added it behind the guitar
Loved that much so far, so I added some jute and I was finished!!

I really hope you have enjoyed the hop!!!

Friends of Unity~ May 2022

Hey there, everyone!!
Today starts the May 2022 Friends of Unity Blog Hop
Our cue this month is
"Things With Wings"
First I'd like to announce my winner from April 2022
Kelsey Thomas!!

Your cards are gorgeous! Love how you colored the tulips, and that butterfly card is amazing. :)

Congrats, girl!!!!

Please email me at

robyn6420@aol.com to claim your prize!!

Use FOU winner in the subject, please and

Congratulations!!!

For my May card, I use the Kit of the Month for March 2022

This kit is GORGEOUS!!!

I have stamped off almost all the images! What a nice assortment, and the best part....A new Angie's Girl with a cup!! YAY!

Here's how it all went down ( 😉

After stamping and coloring the flowers, I chose a pretty background paper, then I was stuck...I couldn't get a good matching color for the butterflies because I am almost always a monochromatic kind of girl, and, well, using a different color is hard for me, so I went to my experts (Crystal & Eileen) for some help!!

The suggestion of red worked very well for me because of the tiny red splatters on the paper

~ paper pad is from Not 2 Shabby called So Refreshing

I hope you like the card

here's a link to the March KOM
That's it for me!!
I sure hope you had fun hopping with us this month
Remember to comment along the way, and leave us all some lovin's

The first card reminds me of my middle granddaughter so much and I had to laugh at your comment about the ink blending looking like she was having fun in the dirt. Live it up anyway you want!

CONGRATULATIONS KAREN

Please send me you address in an email to

robyn6420@aol.com, and I will PM you with a tracking number

I am next to the last stop in the Friends of Unity Blog Hop!!
So I know you're tired and ready to make me a wonderful comment!! LOL😁
I won't keep you here long, I promise!!
Let's get right to my first card
My first card is from the Kit of the month May 2020 called {beginning of anything}
Gorgeous kit!!
When I saw the tulips, I thought to myself, "I'll be water coloring this for sure"
In real life, the tulips are a deeper color, but for staging purposes, I had to lighten the photo.
I sent this pretty thing to my bestie in Georgia, Gwen ...she is the quintessential "Southern Belle" and she's sweeter than sweet tea!!!!
here's a little close up, so you can see the clear drops I used, as well..
Just a little peek at the pattern paper here :)

Next up, is this fun card, where the pattern paper takes center stage!!
I absolutely love this fun piece of paper from
P13 called The Garden of Books
For the image, it's from KOM for January 2022..link below

For my last card, I grabbed a random sheet of pattern paper...I stamped the butterfly onto vellum using Versafine, Vintage Sepia, and heat embossed with clear...then, I fussy cut it out, and popped that bad boy up with an pop dot!! LOL
SUPER easy card

Well, I hope you have gotten so much inspiration for this months cue!!!
If you do make a card inspired by us, please tag one of the team when you share on social media, ok!!!

Sorry about these photos...I have had a few lighting issues and cannot seem to get it just right...I welcome ANY suggestions~ I have 4 Ott lights, and 4 LED lights and Not one of those are working out for me, so far...and I have a light box, but I'm not that crazy about it because of the square photos we have to take for social media to not edit them....thanks in advance!!

Friends of Unity~ March 2022

Hey there everyone!!!
Welcome to last stop in the monthly Friends of Unity Blog Hop!!
YAY!!!
I'm glad you made it this far, because I will be doing a HUGE "fill the flat rate envelope" giveaway to one lucky commenter!!

Well what can I say about this months challenge, but YES!!!
I love using kraft card stock, so this was great for me!!
I hope you like what I made....

First card I made using Unity's kit of the month (KOM) from November 2021 called
 kinda sorta love ya~
I started with a kraft card base, and added a black layer over top
I stamped the image onto white card stock, and just use a blending brush with brown ink around the edges and up into her dress (looks like she was sitting in the dirt to me 😒
I love to add texture with burlap, so this months cards all have a piece on them..

My next 2 cards were inspired by Pinterest....
I do not do clean and simple cards very well, though I do try to leave them alone, I usually add a flower or enamel dot or a bow, even to my cards...
I really love how these 2 turned out...
I stamped and fussy cut the trees from the kit of the month

I stamped then heat embossed the trees in black
Fun fact~ the bottom card is glued upside down...got ahead of myself

I hope you enjoyed this months hop!!
