Coffee Loving Cradmakers
Being from the South, I have a fresh gallon of iced tea in my fridge all the time, with a back up jug in the spare fridge on the front porch...😂😂
(kidding, it's in the garage)
😋
I drink mine slightly sweet, with lemon!
I love lemon tea!
My family, however, have to have their sweet tea, sweet! 2 full cups of sugar goes into my sweet
tea, and we ONLY use Luzianne
How do you make your tea?
I'd love to make sun tea, but frankly, it goes so fast, I'd need to be a week ahead. lol..no time for that
For my card, I stamped the iced tea glass from a set from Little Inkers, and added some ice cubes to float around the top, then, I colored it with Copics. I added white gel pen to add highlights.
I had these little lemons stamped off and colored in my stash, so I added them.
This sentiment is from Paper Sweeties.
I use this set quite often. I love the font, so much..
Well, that's it from me this month!
I'll be back next month on July15th

Robyn, I love your pretty card!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I LOVE the pucker up set! Those lemons are DARLING!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I love the added ice cubes and the little lemons are so adorable! I used to drink my tea sweet, but when I was a teen and worked in the kitchen of a fast food place, I got used to drinking it without because I had no time to add it. But I always had the lemon squeezed into it. Fabulous design.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Robyn! Really pretty colouring.
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, and hilarious post. Thanks so much for sharing with us. I am going to be on the lookout for those precious lemons. I am pretty flexible these days, loved it as SWEET Tea, nowadays I like mildly sweetened brewed or unsweetened sun tea. :)
ReplyDeleteFound the lemons via Coffee Lovers blog! Sugarpea!:)
DeleteYes, sorry Linda. The lemons are from SugarPea Designs!! Such a fun, adorable set !!
DeleteLove all the fabulously fun layers. This is gorgeous! I do enjoy sweet tea, but never make it. I'm more of a coffee kinda girl. ;-)

DeleteYou've never made iced tea??
We Southerners learn to make sweet from birth
Love the background and embellishments on your pretty card, and the cute glass of iced tea!
ReplyDeleteI drink iced tea every day. I prefer unsweetened and I buy Tejava Tea.
Southern girls unite! Lol, we've been using Red Diamond decaf for years to make our sweet tea. Always in the fridge and since I can only handle caffeine before noon, I can drink all I want at night. No lemon though but YES to Lemon on your amazing card!
ReplyDeleteWe did use decaf forever because my grandson loves it, but he didn't need all that caffeine as a baby either...but he's almost 9 now and we've switched back to Luzianne red box
DeleteWonderful card!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love all the texture and cutie lemons on your card! I love lemon in my tea and I drink it just a little sweet like you. Although, I won't shy away from a glass of sweet tea from time to time as well.
ReplyDeleteSamesies!!!
Deletewhat a pretty card. I love the placements of the lemons!
ReplyDeleteThank you, ma'am :)
DeleteThe card is full of summer time inspiration. Love the lemons added too!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Connie! So sweet!
DeleteThose little lemons are the cutest! This is a fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Thanks so much, Christine
DeleteI keep iced tea in the fridge year-round, but even though I love this card, I will not add lemons! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteAdorable card! Your coloring is spot on spectacular! The tea really looks like tea colored!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cindy!!!
DeleteI'm fixin' to finish my tea! Alas, the horror of running out of tea! We to love to brew tea in the sun, but then your are right, it runs out too quickly! I have to confess we use Lipton. ;) And we don't use that much sugar in our tea. These cubes are so cute and I like the frame you used also, it is a nice compliment to the dark tea color and the bright lemons! Fun card! Cheers to you and to tea!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers!!!
DeleteHorrifying thought...running out of sweet tea
Love this so much!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracie
DeleteA super cute card!
ReplyDelete;) thanks, Jean
DeleteOh my gosh! 2 cups of sugar? Well, we were a 1 3/4 cups of sugar so we were close. And.......it HAS to be Luzianne. Oh, the champagne of the south. It's so good! [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteChampagne of the South! LOVE THAT!
DeleteLuzianne "it don't get cloudy"! Remember those commercials??? Truth be told, it doesn't last long enough to cloud up anyway :)
Cute card! I love sweet tea. I don't add as much sugar but that is more because I'm trying to be healthy, not that I don't love it.

They won't drink it with less sugar then that...I shy away from "their" tea, or I'll make an Arnold Palmer (half tea, half lemonade)
DeleteThis is such a cute card with those happy little lemons, ready to add freshness to that glass of iced tea. I use teabags to make my tea...and then add lots of ice and a tiny bit of sugar.
ReplyDeleteI use 3 family size tea bags per gallon of tea, and yes, ma'am, 2 cups of the white stuff LOL
DeleteWhat a fabulous card this is, and gee you had lemons set aside to use, hah, sounds like me lol, funny how we card makers have so many things just perfect to use! I like my tea with no sugar, but gotta have that lemon in it!!
ReplyDeleteHaHa! I do that a lot actually. I had the lemons from a previous collaboration with SugarPea Designs, all colored up, so it went fast!
DeleteThanks for your comments
I can drink my coffee any way someone serves it to me (no creamer, no problem.. but, if I have my sweet tea, I want it with lemon, or I'll just drink water :)
Love the faces on the lemons.
ReplyDeleteDelightful card. thanks for
sharing. txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com
Thanks so much!!
DeleteWhat a sweet card! Those cute lemons are too much!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteWish my lemons were as cute as these, lol. I like my tea with a little bit of honey, and some lemon. I try not to put too much sugar in it, but sometimes I can't resist.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteYum on your tea!
The lemons are stealing the show!!
ReplyDeleteI only use REAL sugar, too...not the fake stuff~ew
The smiling lemons are so cute! I also really like the dolly thing in the background of the card, it adds a nice level of detail.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jennifer~ that's actually a flowered frame die I just recently bought from Michael's..
DeleteGorgeous card. Love those cute little lemons. Hugz
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! Hugz
