Hey there friends!!
Welcome to Robyn's Nest!!
Happy New Year!!!
To start off the new year, we are taking it easy with the cue,
Clean and Simple
OR
CAS
Here's how I was inspired...
Unfortunately, I needed 4 sympathy cards before Christmas...
This first card is very simple
a little jute bow, and button for dimension
(I used the sets pictured)
Up next, all I had to do was color the flowers
I stamped then heat embossed the sentiment on clear cardstock, also by Papertrey Ink
I hope you are having a great start to your new year!!
Please leave me a comment.... it may be you I choose for my next giveaway!!

Sweet little cards and I have always loved that jar of flowers, Robyn! Thanks for inspiring me to use it again!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful. I am sorry you needed a sympathy card, not fun cards to make but so meaningful to the person who receives it. The color combinations you used are so peaceful and calming. I feel warmth when I look at them. I love the image set on an angle with the pretty die underneath on the first card. The floral image on the second card is colored so soft and is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that sympathy cards were needed....but these beautiful creations, I'm sure, brought peace to the recipient. I will say that the last one, with the colored flowers, is my favorite! :) {hugs}
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet cards. Sympathy cards are always hard to make, and something I like to keep on hand because they're so hard to make when they're actually needed. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAlways the hardest cards to make, but you have done so well with these
ReplyDeleteCondolances... Gasp... I immediately felt your compassion in the 1st card... I know the recipient did too! What an incredible image. Wow. Annnnd Same/different/soft/love with the beauty of the 2nd. The sandy colors are so beautiful, note to self! Happy New Year! I've never made a sympathy card ahead of time, but this 1st image would be wonderful to have some on hand, melted my heart.
ReplyDeleteThese monochromatic cards are so peaceful and pretty, and make the perfect sympathy card. I love the way you colored just the hair ribbon in your first design.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely BEAUTIFUL cards! I love the soft palette that you used.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are so lovely and I really like the subtle colors you used on each one; very earthy. The floral card is really elegant as well. So sorry you had to make so many sympathy cards - that stinks!! I avoid them like the plague.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, Robyn! Soft colors and beautiful papers. So sorry that sympathy cards were needed but you made beautiful cards sweet friend. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cards,
ReplyDeleteI love the second one
with the colored flowers.
Happy New Year!
