Thank you ladies for your continuous support of our hop!!
Ok, onto the rest of the hop!!
Our cue this month is
My Favorite Things...
For this card I used
The sentiment is heat embossed in gold
I used a swirly embossing folder from Darice
and Specturm Noir clear shimmer pen over the glass and stem
I tied a knot (idea from Crystal M. ) from some plaid ribbon and added it for more color
The sentiment that comes with this set was too big for the front of this card, so I stamped it on vellum in red and heat embossed it with Dazzling Diamonds from Stampin' Up
I did add a bit of color to the glass with Copic R0000
and E0000 for the bubbly ;)
Thanks for hanging to the end!!
I am having a few giveaways this time so be sure to leave a comment along the way to be entered!

I had not seen that stamp set before. Very nice! I like your addition of the ribbon to add color and the smart way you added the sentiment. This card captures a bit of holiday cheer so well. Happy Anniversary!!

ReplyDeleteHappy to see that I'm one of your top commenters! I always enjoy your cards!
Lovely design to celebrate the holidays, the plaid knot is the perfect finishing touch!
ReplyDeleteLove your card! It is a perfect stamp for all my crafty, wine drinking friends!! The knotted ribbon is just the perfect detail to add - I'll have to remember that for my own cards!
ReplyDeleteAnother great card! I really love the added ribbon on the stem... the perfect touch! (And here's another stamp for my wishlist! LOL)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your card using cheers by Tierra Jackson. The ribbon and the stem adds an extra added Dimension to the card. The only thing different I would have done is I would have used glossy accents on the glass part to make it look more shiny as if it was a glass. Amazing hap and great inspiration. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Beautiful card. Love the b/w and just a touch of color. Great design. Thanks for the inspiration! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteCheers to you on this wonderful Anniversary... many more. I love how you colored this glass. The pen sparkle looks very realistic. Oooo and bubbles make a party! The bow and sentiment add that perfect pop. Love this card. This was fun again... Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteHow have I never seen that stamp set before?! This would make a wonderful anniversary or New Years card as well as for Christmas. I love the way you left it partially uncolored, with the pop of red for the bow and cherries. The shimmer is such a pretty touch. Have a wonderful holiday season and stay well!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, and I'll bet it really shines in person. Love that you stamped the sentiment on vellum and added that bow for color. I'll have to remember to do that for my New Year cards. Happy holidays to you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this beautiful card and how-to info!! I love it!!!
