Friends of Unity December 2020

Hey there!!
Welcome to Robyn's Nest
Well, by now, you know that we are celebrating our 3rd anniversary of the Friends of Unity Blog Hop! It really is hard to believe all that has happened in the last 3 years, but we have enjoyed having all of our regulars with us for the wild ride, that started by loving a certain stamp company!!
Id like to do a little shout out of my top 10 commenters!!
Mamaw Cindy!! Cindy Holmes
Carla from Utah!!!
Becca Yahrling
Vannessa Osborne
Meg Crawford
Glennis F
Holly AKA KopyKat
Wilma DeG

Denise Bryant!!
Thank you ladies for your continuous support of our hop!!

Ok, onto the rest of the hop!!
Our cue this month is
 My Favorite Things...

For this card I used

The sentiment is heat embossed in gold
I used a swirly embossing folder from Darice
and Specturm Noir clear shimmer pen over the glass and stem
I tied a knot (idea from Crystal M. ) from some plaid ribbon and added it for more color
The sentiment that comes with this set was too big for the front of this card, so I stamped it on vellum in red and heat embossed it with Dazzling Diamonds from Stampin' Up
I did add a bit of color to the glass with Copic R0000
and E0000 for the bubbly ;)

Thanks for hanging to the end!!
I am having a few giveaways this time so be sure to leave a comment along the way to be entered!

  22. Another great card! I really love the added ribbon on the stem... the perfect touch! (And here's another stamp for my wishlist! LOL)

  23. I absolutely love your card using cheers by Tierra Jackson. The ribbon and the stem adds an extra added Dimension to the card. The only thing different I would have done is I would have used glossy accents on the glass part to make it look more shiny as if it was a glass. Amazing hap and great inspiration. Stay safe.

  26. How have I never seen that stamp set before?! This would make a wonderful anniversary or New Years card as well as for Christmas. I love the way you left it partially uncolored, with the pop of red for the bow and cherries. The shimmer is such a pretty touch. Have a wonderful holiday season and stay well!
